So, this Saturday is my last day of working in the Pastry Kitchen at BYU.... I asked if I would be able to work there over the summer, but since I'm graduating in April I'm not allowed.
I've been planning on doing some substitute teaching until school gets out in May, and then probably starting again in August/September until I have my baby, but I haven't gotten that worked out yet. I went straight over to the Kelly Services place where they take subs for Provo district after my last day of student teaching on Friday, but as my luck goes, the person I would need to talk to was not there. They gave me her card, but I guess I've just been enjoying my break too much to get on the ball....
The problem is, even if I start subbing ASAP, that still leaves June, July and at least 2/3 of August where I do not have a job. I really would like to get a job that's easy and pays a lot (wouldn't everyone?), but I'm not sure what I'm going to be able to find, or even where to look. I guess as someone who will be a college graduate in, oh, 9 days, I guess I feel entitled to making more money than sixteen year olds working their first jobs....only problem is that's about the only type of job I know how to find... (and that seems likely to hire someone just for the summer months).
Anyway... PLEASE, if anyone knows of a low-stress (preferably high-paying) job I could get or try to find here in the Provo/Orem area... Let me know. I really should be finding something to do for the summer... Thanks!

'Get a job, sha na nana nana nana na...' I'm sure you find something! Have fun with Mom this week!
I vote for NOT getting a job!! I can make a list of things for you to do instead:
1. Read Twilight Series
2. Sew blankets for the church humanitarian center.
3. Learn to cook 10 new dishes that are delicious and nutritious.
4. Organize every teeny nook and cranny of your apartment, clutter multiplies exponentially once the baby comes.
5. Scrapbook.
Seriously, that will keep you very busy/entertained for 5 months! Jobs are overrated :)
