I'm Big Time Now!

Okay, so I plan on blogging about Quilt Camp maybe tomorrow. It was SO FUN!!

But, I just have to post about something very exciting that just happened! So, I know many of you have looked at my new blog, thatsfamtastic.blogspot.com, and you might know that I (and my sister who's started writing on it with me!) have been participating in blog parties with it. Well, today at Nesting Place, there is a party called Lampapalooza. Let me just give you a little background info, if you are not familiar with Nesting Place. Um, it's my favorite. Really, reading that blog is what got me into reading all those other blogs, which is what got me into starting up That's {FAM}tastic. It's a wonderful blog. I actually used a lot of her stuff for an enrichment activity I taught about making your home a nice place to be. And she's got somewhere over 1,000 followers, so it's a very popular, high-traffic blog. Okay, back to the party. I posted a couple of lamp pictures, including the picture I used to show off my headboard last week, because it's got my cute Ikea lamps in it. First of all, the very first comment I recieved on this post was from THE NESTER herself! How cool is it that?

And as if that wasn't cool enough, I was looking at my stat counter for the blog, and saw that one of the referring links was from http://nester.tumblr.com/! I AM ON NESTER'S TUMBLR!! So, more background info, if you don't know... (well I'm not actually very familar with tumblr, except that I've looked at the Nester's before) This is where the Nester puts links to things she sees online that she likes. The caption on the side of the site actually says, "a place to put stuff I don't want to forget"...um, yeah, the Nester doesn't want to forget MY headboard! Right there at the top (for now) is a big picture of my headboard with a link to my blog!! How cool is that that I impressed her enough to post my picture in her favorites!

Anyway, that's just incredibly cool if you ask me.
