Kisses

I feel I need to make a post that is on more of a happy note than the last one.

So, I'm not sure when most babies learn how to give kisses, or when they would even be congitively developed enough for this, but I'm pretty sure that William has learned the art of a kiss on the cheek.

I love giving William kisses, and whenever I do I usually say something like "Mommy's giving you kisses! Kiss kiss kiss!" And recently when I do, afterwards I'll say "Can you give mommy kisses?" and then put him near my cheek and he gives me a sweet open mouth slobber.

Now you may say that babies just like to slobber on people. I know this is true. BUT, in the past any time William would be anywhere near my face, (like while I burped him on my shoulder) he would go after my face and start sucking away! And sometimes he still does it...But not when I ask him to give me kisses. I really think he already knows how to give a sweet little baby kiss, and I LOVE IT!

He must be such a sweet little baby. Maybe he does understand. They all learn different things at different times.
