Friday night we went to the big senior celebration on campus. We at LOTS of free food (everything they had...we both ate a hamburger, 2 slices of pizza, icecream, chips, and soda!). Trent got interviewed for BYU Weekly, about his experience here and at the party, so he and William might be on TV in a week or two. They said it comes on Saturdays and Sundays on the BYU channel, and it will also be online. Neato. We also went to the performances/raffle part of the party...We saw Noteworthy, a female a capella group, and Living Legends, a multicultural group that performs songs and dances from different parts of the world. We didn't win any prizes in the raffle. Darn. Trent was one number off from winning a foosball table.
Saturday during the day Kadee and Troy came over to dye Easter eggs with us. I was SO excited for this! I LOVE dying eggs, but I haven't done it in years (Trent was boring and said we should wait till we had kids to do stuff like that--well this year we have one!!). It was great fun!
Saturday night we met some friends, the Rowleys, to watch a Utah Flash basket ball game. They are the NBA D-league team here in Utah. Ben is one of Trent's mission buddies. We had a good time. Ben and Robin thought William was adorable, as was expected :) After the game we went to Cold Stone for some ice cream. Unfortunately some time between Saturday night and this morning I lost my keys. I can't find them ANYWHERE! Lame.
Sunday we had Trent's friend Tyler over for Easter dinner. It was de-lish if I say so myself. We had ham, cheese potatoes, and salad. Trent made biscuits because I forgot to set out the rolls to rise (darn), and we had peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream ("French vanilla magnifique" to be exact) for dessert. YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!
Tonight we had another dinner with my old TA buddies at our house. We made Cafe Rio pork salads! SO good. It was fun to see all of those cute girls and catch up! Whit's got a boyfriend, Jessie's graduating, Pyper's engaged, Allison's doing an internship in the fall, and Katie's haircut is Ca-uuuute! We're all just awesome, if you ask me!
On Wednesday, Libbi and Scott will be coming over to play games with us! I'm excited. The four of us used to hang out all the time, back in the day...when Trent and I started dating. That will be fun.
And of course we are also looking forward to graduation! Rod and Cindy, and my mom will all be coming up for it! We can't wait to see everyone. And of course, proud parents that we are, we can't wait for them to see William again, and tell us how cute he is. As if we didn't know.
It's lots of fun around here!
Sorry, this post is doing the lame thing where it won't put spaces between my paragraphs again. I tried, but it won't cooperate.
